Haley and Dillon got married at the beautiful, rustic #ashleymanor barn in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. When I met this couple, I could tell how in love they were, and they were doing it all: Getting married AND buying a house together. I was told right away that Dillon would be the cryer, and I secretly always love it when the groom gets emotional! I pulls at my heart strings every time! Here's a beautiful shot of them reading letters that they wrote to one another and read o the day of the wedding.
They had two readings during their ceremony, and the first one was a special reading written by their friend, Logan. The reading spoke about the hands of your partner, and how they will promise you love today, tomorrow, and forever, hands that will work alongside you to build a future together, hands that will comfort in grief and uncertainty, hands that will wipe tears during times of sorrow and joy, hands that will give you strength. It also spoke about how these were the hands that would get old and wrinkled, but will still be reaching with tenderness to the one they love. I thought their friend, Logan, had great insight and a truly romantic soul to write such an amazing piece for the Misenheimers. It reflected their love in such a beautiful way, and was a wonderful tribute to them.
The way they met was truly extraordinary. Haley worked at a Harley Davison shop, and Dillon was a regular. In fact, that was something that they cherished doing together, riding. They enjoyed riding so much, that they even wanted it put into their vows, as they promised to love each other as they rode into the sunset until the end of time. Dillon plucked up the courage to ask Haley out on a date and all the rest was history.
Their entire bridal party consisted of all law enforcement and EMS workers, as Dillon is also an EMS worker. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Dillon and all his groomsmen (and women) for their unending dedication and service to their community and humanity as a whole.
Such a beautiful night, it was truly a #timelesswedding.
